What cryptoassets are available?
We exclusively offer Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) for purchase and sale through our ATMs.
What are the minimum and maximum amounts for a transaction?
- Minimum amount: €20
- Maximum amount: €990 per transaction (in accordance with cash payment regulations)
How long does a Neobyte ATM transaction take?
For your first transaction, it will take approximately 7 minutes to register. For subsequent transactions, allow approximately 3 minutes.
Do I need to log in to use a NEOBYTE ATM?
Yes. A KYC (Keyword Identification Card) check is mandatory from the first euro spent for AML/CFT compliance reasons. This is done directly via the ATM interface using:
- A valid ID
- A selfie taken directly at the ATM
This is only required for the first transaction to register you.
How long does it take to receive my cryptocurrencies?
Once the transaction is validated, the cryptos are generally sent to your wallet in less than 3 minutes. The time may vary depending on blockchain network congestion.
What types of wallets are accepted?
We accept any personal wallet compatible with BTC or ETH, including:
- Mobile wallet (Trust Wallet, Metamask, etc.)
- Hardware wallet (Ledger, etc.)
- Exchange wallet (Binance, Kraken, Coinbase, etc.)
If you don’t have a wallet, you can generate one directly at the machine.
Does NEOBYTE own or control my crypto?
No. We do not offer any custody services. Your crypto is immediately transferred to the address of your choice.
What should I do if I don't receive my crypto?
Contact our customer support with:
- Your transaction receipt
- Your wallet address
- The date and time of the transaction
Are the machines accessible to foreign tourists?
Yes. The interface is available in French and English. The service is open to anyone with valid proof of identity.
